Smudge is an 11-month-old handsome boy who was rescued from Manitoba in March of this year. Since arriving, he’s been patiently waiting for someone to look at that adorable face and say, “Yep. That’s my dog.” 

He’s been posted on social media. He’s attended adoption events. He’s put on his best “please adopt me” face…and somehow, not one person has fallen for him yet. We truly don’t understand it!

Because Smudge is WONDERFUL.

Gets along great with other dogs
We think he would likely do well with cats too — he’s such a gentle, easygoing guy

Smudge is still young enough to be silly and playful, but he’s past some of that tiny-puppy chaos. He’s ready for adventures, cuddles, treats, naps and a family to finally call his own.

And seriously… LOOK AT HIM. 

Maybe Smudge has been waiting this long because his person just hasn’t seen him yet.
