Congratulations Olivia and Arthur, and thank you for opening your hearts and your home to this sweet Tookie.  Wishing you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories together. 

 Some stories stay with you forever… and Gloria and her babies are one of them. 

Found on a remote Manitoba reserve, Gloria had tucked her puppies under a shed, hiding them away to keep them safe from the cold and the dangers around them. A devoted mama, protecting her babies the only way she knew how.

Because of kindness, teamwork, and rescue coming together, Gloria and every single one of her pups were brought to safety. One by one, they found their families. Today we celebrate Tookie’s adoption day, the final puppy from that litter to head home. From a hidden spot under a shed to a life filled with love, this photo captures a miracle made possible by compassion.

Today we’re celebrating Pinto, who has officially been adopted and absolutely adored in his forever home.  He fits right in with his two canine siblings looking just like them, only smaller and completes the pack perfectly.

Seeing Pinto settled, loved, and heading off on a lifetime of adventures with his family is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you to his amazing family for choosing adoption and for giving Pinto the wonderful home he deserves.

This beautiful girl, who happens to be deaf, has touched so many hearts with her gentle spirit and quiet resilience. She came to us needing love, patience, and understanding and she has now found a family who sees her for the incredible dog she is.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who applied to adopt her. The outpouring of interest, love, and support for Adele was overwhelming in the best way. Knowing so many people were willing to open their hearts to a special-needs pup truly means the world.

Adele’s new family instantly connected with her sweet nature and are committed to giving her the safe, loving life she’s always deserved. She’s finally home.

Remember Chevy and Sierra, the sweet duo found dumped on the side of a country road here in Ontario? Well… look at them now. 

These two are officially living their best life with their amazing adopters, spoiled, loved, and finally safe and the best part? They’ve just graduated from training school! 

From being abandoned to thriving as confident, happy pups… this is what rescue is all about.

Congratulations Chevy & Sierra and thank you to their wonderful family Melissa and Krystle for giving them the life they always deserved. 

We adopted Kevin after losing one of our beloved rescue Chihuahuas in February 2024. When we applied for him, we didn’t yet know our other Chihuahua was also sick, and heartbreakingly we lost her just a week before bringing Kevin home.

The moment I saw his little face in a post looking for a foster or adopter, I knew he was meant to be ours. My husband and I instantly fell in love when we picked him up, and he bonded right away with his sister Mia.

Kevin was very skinny when we adopted him, but he quickly gained weight and started thriving. His sweet, funny personality has truly helped heal our broken hearts. He loves snuggling, patio lunches, and coming along on all of our little adventures.

We are so grateful to rescue organizations for bringing Kevin into our lives. He is the perfect addition to our family.

Top Left is Batman.  We foster failed with Batman.  We fell in love with him and couldn't imagine our lives without him.  He has so much character and makes us laugh every day!
