Jean and Eugene were recently adopted and returned through no fault of their own after it was discovered they do not do well with cats. They are wonderful little dogs who simply need a cat-free, adult-oriented home where they can feel secure.

These two share an unbreakable bond that began on the streets of Texas. Jean is the confident, opinionated leader, while Eugene is her gentle, devoted shadow. Like many bonded pairs, they have normal moments of bickering, but they settle quickly and do best with structure and consistency.

They are crate trained and house trained, and do well in a calm environment. Jean can be sensitive with new people and young children, so we are seeking a home with older kids or adults only. With guidance and boundaries, she listens well and responds to management tools already familiar to her.

They eat, sleep, play, and cuddle together and must be adopted as a pair. These two are deeply loyal, affectionate, and ready for a patient home that understands small dogs with big personalities.
