Meet Bernard! 

Bernard is a young Terrier mix weighing approximately 45–50 lbs with a big personality and an even bigger love for life. Friendly, affectionate, and always ready for an adventure, he enjoys meeting new people and gets along well with other dogs, including the senior pups in his foster home.

This handsome boy is house-trained, crate-trained, knows “sit,” and is working hard on his leash manners. Like many young terriers, Bernard is smart, curious, and full of energy, so he’ll thrive with an active family committed to providing exercise, structure, and continued training.  He may be a good fit for dog-savvy older children who can participate in his training and respect his boundaries.

Bernard can get excited and occasionally forget his manners, but underneath that playful enthusiasm is a sweet, loving dog who simply wants to be part of the family. Due to his prey drive, a cat-free home would be best.
