Foster or Foster-to-Adopt Needed for Sweet Senior Baby 

This little sweetheart has an opportunity to come into Backstreet Paws Rescue but we can only say yes if we secure a foster or foster-to-adopt home for her first.

Meet Baby, an 8-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 13.4 pounds. This gentle girl is looking for a calm, loving place where she can finally relax and feel safe. Baby is good with dogs, cats, and kids, and has a quiet, low-to-medium energy personality that makes her an easy little companion.

She enjoys leash walks, car rides, cozy dog beds, and simply being near her people. Baby can be a little shy at first and would do best in a peaceful home where she can settle in at her own pace. Once comfortable, she becomes a loyal little shadow who just wants love and security.

Baby is spayed, heartworm negative, and has no known health concerns. Her crate training and housetraining may need some patience and routine, but she has so much love to give in return.

Senior dogs like Baby are so often overlooked, yet they make some of the most grateful and devoted companions. We would truly love to help her we just need someone willing to open their home and heart first.
