At Backstreet Paws Rescue, we are dedicated to giving vulnerable and at-risk dogs a second chance at a safe, loving life.   Based in Ontario and powered entirely by passionate volunteers, we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from a wide range of situations, from local surrenders and shelters to international street dog.

Since our founding, we've helped many dogs find their happily ever after homes.  Our mission is simple:  to advocate for the voiceless, provide compassionate care, and match every dog with the family they deserve.
