Meet Darla!

Darla is a sweet, gentle little Chihuahua who has been through a lot in her life and is looking for a loving forever home where she can feel safe and adored. She lived with a senior woman and three other small dogs before her owner sadly passed away. She was later adopted but, once again, lost her owner. Now, this resilient little girl is in foster care, waiting for the perfect family to give her the stability and love she deserves.

Darla is a cuddly, affectionate girl who loves to sleep with her humans and will happily snuggle up all night. She even does an adorable “Chihuahua dance” when she wants to play! She enjoys her meals three times a day and prefers to wear a little dress to stay cozy—especially in the cold weather.

While she’s good with other dogs, Darla would do best as the only pet in the home, as she thrives on one-on-one attention and can get stressed when left alone. She’s pee pad trained and will need a patient adopter to continue working on her house training at her own pace.
